'Light The People' is a photographic exhibition highlighting the work of winning photographer Jodi Windvogel and their photographic series ‘Life Under Occupation - Inside Cissie Gool House & Cape Town’s Housing Crisis’, alongside work by four photographers achieving Honourable Mention

About The Film Screenings:
Launching the Radical Film School / Equalities Work’s film series we present a screening of acclaimed short films: 'Bathsheba' + ‘Street 66’
‘BATHSHEBA’
An award-winning short fiction, ‘Bathsheba’ is about a a grieving widow, living as a precarious property guardian and facing eviction.
‘STREET 66’
Street 66 chronicles the life of Ghanaian housing activist Dora Boatemah in Brixton who fought for better housing conditions and tenants' rights to vote on the future of their own estates. It premiered at Rotterdam International Film Festival.
The screenings will be followed by the filmmaker Myah Jeffers in conversation with curator and artist Abel Holsborough about the affordable housing crisis and other issues raised in the films.
